Phase 1 of the Herndon Square development consisted of Herndon Homes - a mid-rise building of 91,705 sq ft with 97 units of affordable housing for seniors 62 and older in Atlanta, GA. The community offers 87 one- and 10 two bedroom apartment homes, and also includes a resident lounge, fitness center, computer center, and covered outdoor porch. Essayon had the honor of serving as the wood framing specialty contractor on this project beginning construction in May 2020 and finishing our scope of the project in August of 2020. We'll soon be starting work on Herndon Square Phase II.
